Underneath, 3,162 hand-nested pocket springs in three layers respond independently to every contour, distributing weight so that a partner's movement on one side never carries to the other. Between the springs and surface, Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere, silk and bamboo adapts to body temperature, while hand-opened Austrian Moosburger® horsetail acts as micro-springs to channel airflow through the core and prevent heat buildup. Six rows of side-stitching extend support to the rail, and hand-tied woollen tufts with twine lock every layer in place without any synthetic adhesive.
